The power of this process will blow you away. Just beginning to think about making your cards will initiate profound changes in the way you view your life experiences. Making these cards and sharing them is truly a blessing.
Michael Ortiz Hill, author, teacher and healer, developed the "amor fati" deck (translation: To love one's fate). This workshop adapts his teaching into an experiential workshop that will get you well on your way to making and using your personal deck. Follow up support will also be available in the form of individual appointments or group gatherings.
Next workshop is a mini workshop in May ( May 18, 2007) 6- 9:30 PM for new and returning students

Empowering Your Dreams Workshops
Using a very powerful collage and journaling process, I guide you through identifying and manifesting your hearts desire. Participants in these workshops complete a step-by-step process using art and words to deepen self understanding and remove blocks to living their dreams to the fullest. The collage work is supported with writing, group sharing and other helpful tools.
Collage is a wonderful, nonverbal way to engage the whole being in strengthening focus while eliminating the negative self talk that arises with verbal techniques. The Collage images that we select are then used to strengthen our vision using words as a sort of poetry that expands the visual image. The written word tends to further illuminate the images that we have selected.
- At the completion of an Empowering Your Dreams Workshop you will have:
a collage that represents your clearly stated goal - a journal that supports and expands on the images and gives you a clear idea of any further steps needed to achieve your goal
- a plan for follow-up work with the collage and the journal exercises.
A seven week evening workshop is available at my Santa Rosa office or a nearby studio. The cost is currently $245 plus a moderate fee for materials. Weekend workshops may be scheduled through out the year. I will coordinate with your group or event promoter for a suitable location, dates and fee.
Individual instruction is also available to you, if you wish to complete this process on your own. I will meet with you at regular intervals to assign steps, review and discuss written materials and offer support.
This material is based on the work of several people. Shakti Gawain first introduced me to the idea of a collage as a "treasure map" in her book Creative Visualization. Lucia Capacchione wrote Visioning which is the source for many of the steps that I use in this process. I also utilize SpiritSong, taught to me by Shawna Carol, to help people to connect with their desires and clear blocks. Paul Dillon taught me to use Chi Kung exercises to increase focus and intuition. PSYCH-KTM was originated and taught to me by Rob Williams, M. A. and is used to reprogram unwanted subconscious beliefs.
Be Well Spoken Workshops
In this 6 week format you will have the opportunity every week to practice being authentic and spontaneous in a completely safe environment. Feedback is positive and encouraging. Each week we will cover techniques and tips in areas such as reducing fear and anxiety, eliminating worry and overpreparation, thinking and speaking clearly and being compelling. Together we will change subconscious beliefs that have kept you from experiencing your unique power as a speaker, whether in a one-on-one setting or before an audience. Each participant will also receive a free half hour consultation or reduced fee one hour appointment to focus on a particular area of concern.

SpiritSong Circles and Workshops
SpiritSong is a singing practice that requires no special skills or talents. It is a healing and ecstatic practice that extends the sound healing tool of "toning" into a practice of singing our essence song. The practice allows one to open fully to the flow of the river of song that resides beyond the body, but flows through it. SpiritSong is an intimate encounter with oneself and the divine. It is a way that is inherently known to us and is therefore, simple and easy to learn and practice. Release comes naturally as the song begins to form. One note can express a lifetime of feeling and experience. It is a wonderful tool for releasing pain and moving into healing.Anyone can utilize this practice as a venue for stress reduction, relief from anxiety, self-exploration and community building.
SpiritSong may be taught in individual sessions but, is most powerfully experienced in a Sacred Song Circle. In these circles we practice loving witness of each individual's song. This is a way for a being to be heard and recognized for who each one truly is, a way to practice loving self-acceptance, to confront judgement and to gently dismiss it.
Workshops are available and may be scheduled for private groups. These workshops may also include songwriting, affirmation songs, journeying, and singing storytelling.
I am a Certified SpiritSong Teacher. I have studied on the shamanic path since 1991. I was introduced to this sound healing spiritual practice in 2000 and have attended trainings with Master SpiritSong Teacher,Shawna Carol at the SpiritSong Center in Bedford, MA and at the Sirius Community in Shrewsbury, MA.
